When April Ryan decided to speak out about the upcoming presidential election, no one could have ever realized just how dark her fantasies are. Of course, she’s a CNN analyst, so we probably should have expected it. She’s got some bizarre ideas about how the general election will unfold, that is for sure.
She’s peddling the Democrat fever dream about Trump refusing to leave the White House if he loses the election. First of all, they’re getting a little ahead of themselves. Biden is not some slam dunk candidate who is sure to win. Secondly, Ryan has been watching too many bad movies. She even went on to fantasize about a “split-screen” scenario.
In her words, “There’s going to be a split-screen on Jan. 20, 2021. If Joe Biden is now going to be the 46th president of the United States, you will have him being inaugurated and watching police and armed forces trying to pull Donald Trump out of the White House. I cannot wait for that split-screen.”
She’s not the only public figure to spout this type of gibberish. It seems to be an increasingly popular point of view. The Democrats all want people to think that Trump would actively refuse to leave the White House if he happens to lose the election. These predictions have been all of the rage in the mainstream media since last year and we wish that they would stop.
If we can recall correctly, these were the same folks who were trying to spread the “Trump doesn’t actually want to live in the White House and calls it a dump” narrative. Ryan also tried to tell the world that Trump has already been using mail in voting and that any opposition he’s offering up is a lie. In reality, he was actually using an absentee ballot.
Absentee ballots are different from mail in voting because the voter has the chance to request the ballot themselves. Mail in voting is different because the ballots are all sent out, without a designated recipient. This makes it much easier for voting fraud to take place. When mail in voting is allowed and there are no shortage of ballots that have been cast by pets and dead relatives, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
The group urged the media to prepare the public for the idea that a long period of ballot-counting should not cast doubt on the final election results, given that some states have expanded access to mail-in ballots due to the coronavirus. Mail-in ballots, which Trump has railed against, take longer to count, and results may be delayed past Election Night.
The Democrats need a chaotic election because they are not going to be able to win under normal circumstances. They want people to believe that Trump will need to be carried out of the Oval Office like a screaming child because it’s the only narrative that makes sense to them. Transition Integrity Project decided to analyze the situation, gaming out all of the possible outcomes for the election.
While the group is supposedly bi partisan, we have our doubts about that one. They are a little too easy to convince when it comes to Biden’s ability to win this fall. The group is even providing local officials with instructions on how to handle a Trump defeat, so it seems like they are pretty confident in their findings.
Now, the media is being told that the public needs to be protected. The Democrats are the ones who took to the streets after the last election but now everyone else needs to be worried about what the Republicans are going to do. Quite frankly, this sounds like a projection to us. Trump has said that he’s going to respect the results of the election and that’s all there is to it.
As for the Democrats, they may want to stop counting their chickens before they have had a chance to hatch. It’s all well and good to fantasize about what might happen if Trump loses the election but it has yet to happen. They are only setting themselves up for a massive letdown if the election does not go their way. It’s probably in their best interests to stop talking about this silly fantasy as soon as possible.
