A study of 3.35 million people in South Korea has directly linked the country’s surge in severe heart disease and related deaths to the COVID mRNA Vaccines. The research was carried out by a team of scientists from South Korea and Cambridge University in England. The study shows conclusively that people who received at least one mRNA shot have a much higher risk of developing heart disease, whereas people who took other types of COVID vaccines or who remained unvaccinated experienced normal levels of heart disease.
The data was obtained from South Korea’s National Health Insurance Service (NHIS). Every subject in the study received at least one dose of a COVID vaccine between February 2021 and March 2022. The 3,350,855 in the NHIS data were divided into two cohorts: People who received at least one mRNA shot, and others who received a non-mRNA shot.
South Korea achieved a vaccination rate of 96% or higher among every adult age bracket over 20. They only jabbed about half of 10- to 19-year-olds and only 25% among kids under 10. There were five COVID vaccines administered in the country: the non-mRNA shots from AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, and Novavax, and the mRNA shots from Pfizer and Moderna.
The scientists then compared the rates of acute cardiac injury, acute myocarditis, acute pericarditis, cardiac arrest, and cardiac arrhythmia within 21 days of vaccination. They also compared whether people who developed acute severe heart disease had COVID at any point after vaccination. The CDC has claimed that COVID-19 itself is causing the global surge in heart disease that only started after the rollout of the mRNA shots.
No one who has been paying attention will be surprised by the results that Cambridge has published in the journal Epidemiology and Infection.
“The results revealed higher heart disease risk in individuals receiving mRNA vaccines than other types,” wrote the scientists.
The spike in heart disease was most pronounced among people between the ages of 10 and 59 who received an mRNA shot. They had much higher incidents of heart disease than those 60 or older, which is upside-down compared to all of human history. Kids and young people don’t suffer from acute heart disease, while older people do. The doctors also found no correlation between COVID-19 infection and an increase in the risk of heart disease.
One weakness in the study that cardiologists have pointed out is that the researchers only checked the rates of heart disease after receiving one mRNA shot. Other recent studies have found that the worst risk of acute heart disease is much higher after receiving a second mRNA shot and that the rates spike even further after the first booster (3 shots total).
As the amount of spike proteins injected into a person increases with each subsequent dose, it stands to reason that the “fully vaccinated” would be at the greatest risk of developing heart problems. The study’s authors agree that more research into the phenomenon is needed.
A similar study was released in October in the UK. More than 1.7 million children between the ages of 5 and 15 were studied. The researchers found that vaccinated kids who received the mRNA shots experienced surges in myocarditis, pericarditis, and death from cardiac-related events. They found zero incidents of heart disease or deaths among unvaccinated children. None of the deaths of children in the UK study were attributed to COVID-19. As of late 2024, no country in the world has been able to link the death of a healthy child under 18 to COVID-19.
