Buttigieg is Chased Off Stage by Liberal Protesters

There’s no question that Biden’s Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg, is about as liberal of a guy that position has ever seen. And yet, he’s apparently not nearly as liberal as those in the climate change movement would like him to be.

This was shown this week when “Mayor Pete” was literally chased off the stage at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore by a crowd of leftist environmentalists.

According to the website of Climate Defiance, the group is focused on using “mass-turnout, peaceful direct action to force our politicians to take action at the scope and speed necessary to avert the worst impacts of” climate change.

And that’s exactly what they did to Buttigieg.

The Transportation Secretary was there to speak about “how President Biden is delivering for Maryland.” But members of Climate Defiance in the crowd clearly disagreed.

As numerous images and videos posted to social media prove, members eventually joined Pete on stage to chant things like “Which side are you on, Pete?” and “End fossil fuels, Pete.” Of course, the act included matching and ill-fitting t-shirts, a big banner, and all sorts of noise.

Suffice it to say that it was enough to make Pete pretty much run off stage and exit the building out of the loading dock.

The group also gave Buttigieg a new nickname, although I doubt it will actually stick.

“Petro Pete,” they called him, describing him as a “coward” for running and for not “destroying entire communities to enrich his fossil fuel cronies.”

Remember, this is the same guy who’s been right alongside Biden for years now, pushing for electric cars and other transportation modes to oust their fossil fuel-consuming counterparts out of existence. This is also the guy who has backed a whole slew of Biden’s horrible energy policies, essentially rendering the US completely dependent on nations like Syria, Russia, China, and Iran for our energy needs.

But to these disillusioned lefties, he’s not done enough.
