The situation along the southern border in Texas has gotten extremely tense as Gov. Gregg Abbott (R) is working to stem the tide of Joe Biden’s illegal alien invaders. Biden now claims that the Border Patrol is at odds with the Texas National Guard, which could be setting the stage for a second civil war in America. The Border Patrol union says Biden is full of it, however. The union issued a scathing rebuttal to Biden’s claims this week.
Abbott sent in the National Guard to seal off the 47-acre Shelby Park area in Eagle Pass, one of the main sites of the invasion. The troops kicked the Border Patrol out so they could install razor wire. The National Border Patrol Council (NBPC), which is the union, says the Border Patrol agents have no problem with this.
The National Guard troops are, after all, following lawful orders. The NBPC stated on Twitter/X, “Rank-and-file Border Patrol agents appreciate and respect what TX [Texas] has been doing to defend their state in the midst of this catastrophe that the Biden Admin has unleashed on America.”
“We want to be perfectly clear, there is no fight between rank-and-file BP agents and the TX National Guard, Gov. Abbott, or TX Department of Public Safety,” the union continued. So, as usual, Joe Biden’s pants are on fire.
Contrary to rumors that Biden and the news media are spreading, the Border Patrol agents have no intention of trying to arrest the Texas National Guard members for doing their jobs.
“That’s fake news,” stated the NBPC.
So far, 25 states with Republican governors have pledge support to Gov. Abbott in the form of troops and supplies to seal the border. It looks like Joe Biden’s plans to spook Abbott with threats of arresting National Guard members has backfired on him.
