As we all know Joe Biden’s reelection campaign is not doing particularly well. But who’s to blame for this except Biden himself? Well, according to one Democratic strategist, it’s “preachy females.”
Now, to be clear, strategist James Carville is not strictly talking about females vs. males.
Instead, he says that the entire liberal message is far too feminine.
As Journal-Courier writer Carl Golden summed up the Biden campaign, it’s “floundering – directionless, unable to formulate a coherent second term vision and battered by a series of national polls that place his public standing at historic low levels for an incumbent president seeking reelection.”
For Carville, those low poll numbers are a direct result of “preachy females” sending out the party’s messages.
“’Don’t drink beer. Don’t watch football. Don’t eat hamburgers. This is not good for you.’ The message is too feminine: ‘Everything you’re doing is destroying the planet. You’ve got to eat your peas.’”
To be sure, this rendition does sound a bit like a clingy and overbearing mother, granted, one who only probably wants the best for you.
And while this might appeal to some, he notes that not all voters want or need to hear the same thing.
He uses the example of listening to NPR to hear “Democratic elites.” And yes, that’s his terminology, not mine.
“The whole talk is about how women, and women of color, are going to decide this election. I’m like: ‘Well, 48 percent of the people that vote are males. Do you mind if they have some consideration?’”
But clearly, for the most part, they don’t.
Instead, feminine liberal rules have taken over. And to quote Carville again, “No one wants to live like this.” No one wants to be told how they can heat their home, what they can use to cut the grass, what to eat, how to dress, what names to call another.
Those are petty arguments that, in the long run, don’t matter. Yet, that is what the liberal left has decided to talk about more than anything else.
No wonder black men are running away from the party and straight to the GOP.
