Another Impeachment Discussion Takes Place

It suddenly seems as though the House Republicans are up for impeaching anyone and everyone who stands in the way of democracy. We’re not complaining, but it seems like since Kevin McCarthy took over as House Speaker, a new Democrat is on the chopping block monthly.

Some of the names that have been tossed out for impeachment thus far include:

  • Joe Biden
  • Kamala Harris
  • Pete Buttigieg
  • Alejandro Mayorkas

So far, we haven’t seen anyone impeached and removed from office, though we can certainly hold our breath with the highest level of hope.

Now, there’s a new name – Merrick Garland.

The Attorney General hasn’t exactly been doing his job. In fact, he’s been doing more to keep the Biden family safe than the rest of America.

McCarthy has said that he’d explore an impeachment inquiry if he chooses to weaponize the DOJ, particularly when it comes to the investigations into Hunter Biden.

On Twitter, the Speaker said, “We need to get to the facts, and that includes reconciling these clear disparities. U.S. Attorney David Weiss must provide answers to the House Judiciary Committee.”

All of this sounds far. At the end of the day, we want the truth – and that doesn’t seem like something the Democrats are eager to provide.

We most certainly can’t have a country where the AG is regularly weaponizing the DOJ. We’re supposed to have a nonpartisan justice system, and Merrick may have forgotten that somewhere along the way.

Garland is already trying to point the finger at a scapegoat so he can keep his job. We’ll see what Weiss has to say to determine if Garland actually gets impeachment papers served to him.
