There’s one good thing that has come out of New York – pizza. And the pizzerias in New York are serious about their ingredients, their cooking methods, and their equipment. Basically, don’t come between a New Yorker and his pizza.
The Democrats clearly don’t care about good pizza. The city of New York is currently in the process of trying to ban wood-burning stoves. You know, because of climate change.
Obviously, a good wood-burning stove is a critical component of that delicious pizza crust that NYC is so known for.
Scott LoBaido decided to show up to City Hall to give the Democrats a piece of his mind by throwing pizzas over the gates.
He declared: “Give us pizza or give us death.”

LoBaido is tired of the policies being enacted in NYC. He explained, “the woke-ass idiots who run this city are doing everything in their power to destroy it.”
We couldn’t agree more.
And since the proposed mandate would require pizzerias with wood-burning ovens to reduce carbon emissions by 75%, it could forever change the way that pizza businesses operate – if they have the means to operate at all.
The only way to meet the requirement would be for owners to hire an engineer to install an air-filtration system on their oven – and those systems are not cheap. Plus, there’s a significant amount of maintenance involved with such systems.
Given the state of the economy, it would lead to countless pizzerias having to close because they won’t be able to meet the new woke standards.
LoBaido’s little pizza party at City Hall earned him a summons. He probably should have involved more pizza owners in the party. This is a travesty for New York tourism. No pizza would mean no reason to truly visit the Big Apple.
